Since its founding, the firm’s core purpose has been to conduct independent research and consulting services across strategic management, economic and financial analysis, infrastructure, energy, natural resources, and sustainability. Its overarching mission is to help decision makers in industry, government, and non-profit organizations identify available options and relevant factors when planning their organizations’ activities, and to synthesize the best available strategic solutions for effective decision making.
The firm is led by a multidisciplinary team of experienced professionals. Toward the end of 2024, Ametis launched a new sustainability-focused business line, CarbonAccounting.id. Managed by the firm’s Sustainable Economy Division, the platform draws on certified in-house experts across law, accounting, engineering, and risk management to guide businesses toward compliant, sustainable practices, and it now delivers over 100 million carbon footprint assessments annually, making it one of Southeast Asia’s largest climate compliance service providers.
Its portfolio spans GHG inventories, emission roadmaps, decarbonization strategy, and ESG advisory for major Indonesian enterprises such as PT Jayakarta Inti Management, PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, PT Kereta Api Indonesia, PT Kereta Api Logistik, PT Pertamina Bina Medika IHC, and PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta).
